Ken Maguire Reserve campground offers a relaxed, nature-based experience with a mix of wide open spaces and more secluded spots, giving you the freedom to set up exactly how you like. Guests can choose their preferred area* to suit their group and style of camping, while a limited number of powered sites (this is an add on at checkout) are fixed for those needing them. With plenty of room to spread out, it’s ideal for groups, families and friends wanting to camp together without feeling crowded.
The campground caters for all types of setups — from tents and swags through to camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Entry is via a coded large electric gate for security with a gravel road/walkway through the campground. Simply choose your preferred area (sites may be allocated during peak times), noting that powered sites are specified on the map.
Each site has access to potable water, and a number of powered sites are available for added convenience (please add at checkout). Sites are within 20m-80m of a well-kept amenities block where you'll find toilets, hot showers, and washing up sinks under the verandah. There is a bbq available, fridges if needed (please request), table and seating and a campfire circle (seasonal restrictions apply).
Native wildlife is part of the experience, with kangaroos, koalas and abundant birdlife often spotted around the property. With local wineries quite literally on your doorstep, it’s the perfect base to unwind, explore and enjoy the region. It’s camping the way it should be — spacious, flexible and far from the confines of a traditional caravan park.
*note that sites may be pre-allocated during peak times
